Why This Project Matters

While the subject matter is creative, the operational challenge was not.

This project required designing, governing, and maintaining a large-scale information system capable of supporting research, analysis, publishing, retrieval, taxonomy management, cross-referencing, version control, and long-term knowledge retention across thousands of interconnected records.

Unlike a traditional enterprise knowledge environment, this system was designed, maintained, governed, and continuously expanded by a single operator. Every taxonomy decision, retrieval structure, publication workflow, governance standard, and architectural change was developed and implemented directly within the system.

Over time, the project evolved into a living knowledge architecture incorporating:

The resulting system demonstrates how complex information environments can be structured, governed, and scaled without requiring enterprise software, dedicated engineering resources, or formal knowledge management platforms.

Important note: This is what happens when I become interested in something. I accidentally build architecture.
